A family run Tea Room and Coffee Shop offering a traditional English style menu suited to a day time based operation, ranging from a slice of toast, toasted tea cake or our renowned homemade scones to a more substantial home made chicken and ham pie, filled jacket potato or full English breakfast and much more. We have recently introduced a lite bite menu which offers smaller menu portions to the same high standards, at a smaller price. We also provide a slimmer's selection where less fattening food is available, including fresh fruit for the health conscious. A must try at the Coffee Mill is our clotted cream tea served with a home made fruit scone, clotted cream, strawberry preserve and a pot of your favourite tea.

Interior

The Coffee Mill has recently undergone refurbishment providing a fresh, light, clean environment in which to enjoy your visit. The kitchen area has been modernised to ensure it not only meets current hygiene standards, but exceeds them. At The Coffee Mill we are delighted, even before our refurbishment, that we are one of the few establishments in Chester to receive the Enironmental Health Officer's 5***** rating which not only judges the visual standards but also ensures we have a substantial operational monitoring system in place.

Service

At The Coffee Mill we have 60 seats and our tables have lace table cloths. We pride ourselves on the speed of our waitress service, leaving you more time to enjoy your food before returning to work or your shopping. We are always happy to help those who require assistance with a pram, wheelchair or the menu. Highchairs are also available.
